History

Susquehanna Depot’s history involves the demise of a Native American tribe, the birth of a religion, the evolution of a railroad, the creation of industry in rare rock and timber, and much more. Inhabited since before 1794, and incorporated in 1853 the area’s history encompasses both frontier and industrial America. Although both high speed cable internet service and modern transportation are now available, the borough still holds its old fashioned charm.
